The dreaded question for every photographer. How much do you charge?
The answer is never really that simple. At least not for me. Some people have set pricing and you get what you get, end of story. Because this isn’t my full time job, I try to be a bit more flexible with pricing, because I understand what it’s like to be on a budget. I also know, having been on the client side, it’s frustrating when you’re visiting photographer’s sites and have to make an inquiry for pricing. Some people just like to see numbers, and I get that.
So, below is a basic list of prices that I generally charge for sessions. Please know that if you are on a budget, but you like my work and want to work with me, we can have a conversation about adjusting the price. I’ve done that on several occasions and, as long as it makes sense on both sides, I’m totally down to give you a deal if you need it. Just ask!
- Engagement, couples, or family session – $150
- 45-60 minute shoot
- 20-30 edited digital images
- All raw, unedited digital images
- Longer shoot = $50 per hour
- Senior portrait session – $125
- 30 minute shoot
- 15-20 edited digital images
- All raw, unedited images
- Weddings – $800-$1,500
- $800 package includes:
- 3-4 hours of shooting
- 50-60 edited digital images
- All raw, unedited images
- $1,000 package includes:
- 5-6 hours of shooting
- 65-75 edited digital images
- All raw, unedited images
- Choice of 8×10 album or 1 11×14 canvas print
- $1,500 package includes:
- 8 hours of shooting
- 100-150 edited digital images
- All raw, unedited images
- Choice of 11×14 album or 1 16×20 canvas print
- $800 package includes:
